I'm the youngest of three brothers and my name is John Sarkis. I am also the "J" in Jack'd Skimboards. I was born in San Francisco where my family owned and operated a chain of "Village Pizzeria's". They
were a great success and voted number one in SF but we wanted a change of lifestyle. After much research we moved to Whidbey Island
in 1993 and it"s been a perfect match.

We opened up a little pizzeria in Langley and that is when I met my lifelong brothers/friends, Duncan and Connor Adams. We became inseparable through school and participated in every activity, especially basketball.

It wasn't until early high school when we became friends with Auston who introduced us to skimboarding and encouraged us to ride. And ride we did as we perfected the boards, the designs and the skills with which to use them. We all realized we had the winning combination of being not only friends but the dedication to our product and starting a business. The rest is history as we've realized our dream and JACKD
SKIMBOARDS are now well on their way to becoming an industry standard.
